Ryan, Lisa, Jacob and Katie all eat lunch in the same restaurant. All of them are eating there today and Ryan eats there every day. Lisa eats there every other day. Jacob eats there every third day and Katie eats there every fourth day. The next time they are all together at the restaurant, they will be celebrating Lisa's birthday. How many days from today will the celebration take place? |

I used a calendar to solve the problem. I put each persons name on the days that they ate at the restaurant. The day they will celebrate Lisa's birthday will be in 12 more days.

In my head I thought, their are only 2 people who eat their everyday ,so I set that aside.Their were only 1 person that went their every 3rd day and 1 person who went every 4th day,so I put 3 into 4 ,but it did not fit in. So then I did 4 + 4 = 8 .I put 3 into 8 and it did not fit in either.After that,I did 8 + 4 = 12 . Then,I tried to put 3 into 12 and it worked!The celebration will be in 12 days.

it will be in 12 days I got that because I stated at 5 and then six and so on and ten when I got to the 12th day I saw it was the 1st number to be a multiple of 2 ,3 and 4

I used a calendar and marked the initial of each person on their day, and then I did it all over the calendar and in 11 days, they will meet and celebrate for the party.

I made a chart of the days of the week.I put the persons name on each day that they go to the restaurant.They will all meet in 12 days after today.

It will be 12 days till Lisa's birthday. I did a chart of evrybodys name and put their names in the days they were there.They are eating here today, every three days, and every four days. After I put all the names in the chart I started where everybody came to eat at the reastruant and counted the days to where they stopped eating at the reastruant, and I got 12 days so the celebration (Lisa's Birthday) will take place at the same resturant in 12 days.

They will all meet on the 12th day. Here's how I solved it: First, I listed everybodys exept Ryan's mutltiplels. Then, I searched for the common multiple. It was 12, so they would all meet there on the 12th day.

It will be 30 days from her birthday. I wrote down the multiples of all the numbers,and they each had 30 as a factor so the answer is 30.
